The Team & Role
The Frankston Chemotherapy Day Unit, located on Level 8, Building T, Peninsula University Hospital, provides care and support to patients in a welcoming and professional environment. Reporting to the Cancer Service Manager, the Ward Clerk is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception service to patients and visitors, while providing efficient and effective clerical support to ward staff. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, organisation, communication and teamwork, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, patient-centred care, quality, safety and continuous improvement. The Ward Clerk plays an important role in supporting the day to day operations of the unit and fostering positive workplace relationships.

Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience at administrative level
Enjoys combining administrative processes and client interaction.
Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
iPM, Oracle, CHARM training
