The Team & Role
Join our committed Spiritual Care team, providing holistic spiritual care support to inpatients and their families across Peninsula University Hospital, Golf Links Road, The Mornington Centre and Rosebud Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work with adults of all ages in acute, subacute and mental health settings. We are seeking a highly engaged and professional Spiritual Care Practitioner who contributes meaningfully to the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of patients and their families. You will be able to work autonomously as appropriate, while communicating clearly within well-established multi-disciplinary clinical teams. The role requires fostering and modelling collaborative, respectful relationships, and demonstrating enthusiasm, flexibility, openness, multi-faith and multi-cultural awareness, and a commitment to personal growth.
The successful candidate will be able to work across Peninsula Health sites as required in this part-time role, working two days per week, with Wednesday as the preferred day.

Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Spiritual Care/ Theology/ Counselling or Social Sciences with eligibility for credentialed SCA membership at a Level 2 Independent Practitioner Level.
2 Level 1 (Foundational Units) of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent.
Experience providing person- centred spiritual care support for consumers within hospitals and/or aged care settings.
Level 2 (Advanced) Clinical Pastoral Education highly regarded (desirable)
