Permanent Shifts – Permanent Part-time(W1-Mon,Tues,Wednesday-1445-2245) Week1 only

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred care in line with individual resident care plans

Respect and protect residents' privacy and dignity while maintaining professional and ethical practice

Understand and manage medications, including awareness of drug use and potential side effects
-
Support compliance with Commonwealth Aged Care Accreditation Standards and the Charter of Residents’ Rights and Responsibilities

Document care, assessments, and observations accurately using the eCase system
-
Observe and report on the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual wellbeing of residents
-
Actively participate in care planning and continuous quality improvement activities
Leadership and Clinical Oversight

Manage and prioritise care areas effectively to ensure optimal outcomes
-
Lead by example and promote initiative, accountability, and professional judgement among care staff

Implement medical practitioner orders promptly and effectively
-
Respond proactively to changing care needs or emergencies, ensuring seamless shift transitions
About You
-
AHPRA-registered nurse with current registration
-
Demonstrates high standards of professional appearance and conduct
-
Effective problem solver with strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
-
Knowledge of aged care medications and best practice in medication management
-
Familiarity with aged care documentation systems (experience with eCase preferred)
