The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team with an amazing culture and support, where you can learn, grow, and make a significant impact. The National Account Executive at SPC is a key role within the SPC retail sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Woolworths and Aldi team across several key categories being Prepared Meals, Canned Vegetables, Chilled Juice & Multi Serve Fruit & Beverages.

This role requires a detailed orientated individual who is self-driven to provide support and learn from the sales account team. We are also looking for someone that can help contribute to the team culture and build collaborative customer and internal relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Account & Customer Management:

Work closely with the Snr NAM & NBM to ensure working priorities are established & executed as agreed
Develop & build rapport with internal stakeholders including Retail, Marketing, Category, Finance, Demand Planning, supply chain, Call Centre & extended teams
Establish close working relationship with key external stakeholders across Supply, marketing, demand planning and commercial teams
Acute understanding & implementation of internal processes, inclusive of pricing systems, forecasting, budgeting, & sales reporting
Joint ownership of the forecast file for Woolworths and Aldi
Joint ownership of promotional and portal management with the customer

Skills you will bring to the role:

Coachable & willingness to work closely with key Retailers, positive communicator
Pro-active approach to the role & responsibilities, always looking to improve ways of working
Accuracy & Attention to detail
Proficient in software systems, Excel, PPT & any previous exposure to Power Bi, BlueShift or D365 highly advantageous
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills as well as an ability to assess problems and provide solutions
Strong commercial acumen, planning & organisation skills
Continuous improvement mindset

The successful candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Basic understanding of category management and promotional strategies.
Growth mindset and strong self-awareness
Outstanding relationship building skills. Able to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of key contacts across multiple levels of the industry.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Proficiency in using Excel and ability to learn new systems.
Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the team and business.
