In this role, you'll:
- Join a high performing team delivering enterprise-wide SAP solution architecture across Transport for NSW. You will shape outcomes that drive integration, efficiency and consistency across multiple SAP functional domains.
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design of cross-functional SAP solutions, including integration landscapes, data models and process harmonisation, to support complex, multi-domain business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to gather requirements, define cross-functional solution architectures, and develop implementation roadmaps that span multiple SAP modules and programs.
- Work closely with domain solution architects and the principal architect to ensure adherence to Transport and SAP architectural standards across all functional areas.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to ensure alignment between cross-functional SAP programs and the broader ICT Strategy.
- Coordinate cross-program and cross-module designs, manage interdependencies, and proactively resolve solution risks and issues.
- Lead solution design to meet business and stakeholder needs, maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
- Drive system rationalisation, integration, and process efficiency across SAP functional domains to meet business requirements.
- Specialise in SAP solution architecture for large-scale business transformation programs, with a focus on cross-functional alignment and end-to-end process design.
- Champion reusable architecture patterns and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across SAP programs.

About you
- Extensively knowledgeable and experienced in large and complex business transformation programs spanning multiple functional domains.
- A proven SAP Cross Functional Architect or Senior SAP Solution Architect with experience around multiple SAP functional domains, with a track record of successful SAP implementations in large, complex, multi-module environments.
- Deeply knowledgeable across multiple SAP functional areas, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration technologies (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP Data Services), with the ability to connect and align solutions across domains.
- Strongly versed in architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks, with the ability to translate complex, multi-stakeholder business requirements into scalable, flexible, and secure SAP solutions.
- Holder of relevant SAP S/4HANA certification(s) — highly regarded.
- Experienced in managing cross-functional architecture governance, including design authorities, architecture review boards, and standards compliance.
- Demonstrably skilled at driving cross-program designs and coordinating architecture functions across multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
- An excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels — from technical teams through to executive leadership.
- Able to provide both strategic direction and hands-on technical leadership across complex, concurrent SAP programs.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining architecture frameworks, patterns and domain management artefacts.
- Experienced in leading system rationalisation, integration design, and process harmonisation initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes.
