The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team focused on quality engineering and test automation excellence.
This role is ideal for a hands-on test automation specialist with strong experience designing and developing frameworks from scratch using C#, Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript. You will work closely with developers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested across UI, API, and cloud-based environments while driving best practices in quality assurance and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Create automated test solutions using C#, Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript.
- Execute API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites across multiple applications.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing activities where required.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects clearly to delivery teams.
- Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
- Support CI/CD processes through Jenkins and GitHub integration.
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Validate cloud-based applications and services.
- Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
- Mentor team members and promote automation best practices.
What You'll Need
- Strong hands-on experience with C# test automation development.
- Extensive experience using Selenium and Playwright.
- Strong TypeScript development experience.
- Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of API testing and automation techniques.
- Experience performing UI, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Hands-on manual testing experience including test case creation and execution.
- Experience working with Jenkins and GitHub.
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and testing approaches.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate defects, risks, and testing outcomes.
- Experience working within Agile software delivery environments is highly regarded.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
