Full Job Description

CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Sales Support & Data Entry Coordinator to support our customers, Sales team and warehouse operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate data entry, order processing, customer service and keeping day-to-day administration running smoothly. You will manage customer information, prepare quotes, enter orders and coordinate deliveries from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key responsibilities

Accurately enter and process customer orders.
Prepare quotes, picking slips, invoices and other sales documentation.
Follow up outstanding quotes and maintain accurate status records.
Respond to customer enquiries regarding pricing, stock availability, orders and deliveries.
Maintain and update customer records, pricing information and database details.
Check orders and documentation for accuracy before processing.
Coordinate with the Sales team and warehouse to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.
Monitor customer orders and provide timely progress updates.
Follow up late or missing deliveries with freight providers.
Resolve general order, invoicing and delivery queries.
Manage customer enquiries by phone and email.
File and maintain accurate electronic records and supporting documentation.
Assist with general sales administration and reporting.
Communicate relevant information to customers and internal teams within required timeframes.
Follow company procedures relating to order processing, customer records and administration.

About you

You are accurate, dependable and comfortable working with a high volume of information. You take pride in getting the details right and can manage competing priorities without losing track of customer commitments.

You will ideally bring:

Previous experience in data entry, sales administration, order processing or customer service.
Fast and accurate keyboard and data-entry skills.
Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
The confidence to communicate with customers, sales staff, warehouse personnel and freight providers.
The ability to follow established processes and maintain accurate records.
A practical approach to resolving order and delivery issues.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Experience working in a B2B or B2C sales support environment is advantageous.
