About the Role

As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the daily operation of the service while helping to build an engaged, high-performing team and ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service
Leading, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver high-quality learning outcomes
Assisting with compliance, rostering, occupancy growth, and operational performance
Building positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
Supporting the centre's journey towards achieving and maintaining excellence against the National Quality Standard (NQS)
Creating a positive and collaborative team culture where educators feel valued and supported
Acting as the Centre Manager in their absence when required

About You

You are a confident and supportive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and developing others to succeed.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Previous leadership experience as an Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Lead Educator, or similar role
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Demonstrated ability to support compliance, team development, and centre performance outcomes
A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and educators
