ACC Marsden Park is a K-12, co-educational, Christian School, located in the thriving North West corridor of Sydney, in a semi-rural setting which is experiencing sustained growth and is targeted for fast-tracked development.

About our Culture

ACC Marsden Park has a College-Wide Teaching and Learning framework that is built around three "Signature Pedagogies". We prioritise Explicit Direct Instruction, Specific Targeted Feedback, and Thinking Through Writing as pedagogical approaches that develop deep learning.

Requirements

About the Role

The Primary Year Coordinator ensures that every student in their Year Group is well taught and well cared for. They will inspire, lead and manage the implementation of teaching and learning using the College’s Signature Pedagogies to produce quality learning outcomes. They will ensure that every student in the Year Group is safe, supported and will develop the good character of students. They will liaise with classroom teachers, specialist staff, Primary Leadership and parents to meet the learning and pastoral care needs of students.

This full-time role will commence Term 1 2027.

About You

You will:

Actively build College culture, beliefs and values.
Be an excellent teacher using the College’s Signature Pedagogies.
Be an exemplary practitioner of student behaviour and supporting wellbeing.
Be a demonstrated culture keeper and reflect the common attributes of humble, hungry, and people smarts.
Care about other people as people and as professionals.
Uphold the core values of ACC when liaising with other staff.
Have a deep faith and personal relationship with Jesus and show it through their actions.
Have a suitable qualification and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
Hold a current Employee Working With Children Check.
