About the Role
Casual Sports Coach
Location: Woolwich, NSW
Commencement:* Immediate start, August 2026*
Schedule: Fortnightly shifts, 11:45 am – 1:15 pm on Thursdays
We're looking for an enthusiastic Casual Sports Coach to deliver fun and engaging sports sessions for primary school students. Coaches should have a basic understanding of Basketball and Teeball, or be eager to learn. You'll be responsible for leading activities, encouraging participation, and creating a positive and inclusive environment for students of all skill levels.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Teach the fundamental skills, rules and tactics of different Sports
- Facilitate activities and modified games to a recreational group.
- High energy coach that can engage and motivate teenage students.
- Plan creative sessions and be able to adjust to the needs of the group.
- Pay is dependent on Qualifications and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Must be available for the School Term
- Must have a Working with Children Check Clearance number https://wwccheck.ocg.nsw.gov.au/Apply
Experience Needed: 1-2 years of Sports Coaching OR full training will be provided for the right candidates who show initiative, enthusiasm and capability to learn.
Qualifications Needed: The successful candidate will be required to complete the free online coaching and officiating courses:
