About the Venue:
Located in the heart of Potts Point, Hotel Diplomat is a boutique hotel offering stylish accommodation and genuine hospitality just moments from Kings Cross Station and Sydney CBD. Surrounded by some of Sydney's best cafés, restaurants and nightlife, the hotel combines modern comfort with exceptional service, creating memorable stays for both business and leisure travellers.

As part of the Oscars Group portfolio, Hotel Diplomat is entering an exciting new chapter, making this the perfect time to join our growing team.

About the Role:
We are seeking Night Auditors to join our Front Office team, with Full Time, Part Time and Casual opportunities available. Working overnight from 11:00pm to 7:00am, you'll be responsible for keeping the hotel running seamlessly while delivering exceptional service to guests around the clock. From welcoming late arrivals and assisting overnight guests to completing the nightly financial audit and ensuring the safety and security of the property, no two shifts are the same.

This is an autonomous role where you'll take ownership of the hotel's overnight operations, playing a key part in preparing the property for another successful day. Whether you're an experienced Night Auditor or a Front Office professional looking to step into overnight operations, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hotel backed by one of Australia's leading hospitality groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests during overnight check-in and check-out while delivering exceptional customer service
Complete the nightly audit, ensuring all daily revenue, transactions and postings are reconciled accurately
Prepare and distribute daily audit and financial reports to relevant departments
Respond to guest enquiries, requests, complaints and emergency situations professionally and efficiently
Ensure all reservations and guest account details are accurate and up to date
Handle overnight reservations, room allocations and guest requests
Monitor the safety and security of the hotel by conducting regular security checks throughout the property
Maintain a clean, organised and professional Front Office environment

About You:

Previous experience in a Front Office or Guest Services role is essential
Experience using OPERA or a similar Property Management System (PMS) is highly regarded
Strong numerical skills with the ability to accurately reconcile financial transactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident working independently and making sound decisions
Calm, reliable and professional under pressure
Comfortable working permanent overnight shifts (11:00pm – 7:00am)
Australian working rights are required
