The Opportunity

The Clayfield Retirement Village is a unique community close to the inner city and set on beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens that surround the many private apartments. Joining our team as a Domestic Attendant (Cleaner), you will provide essential cleaning services throughout the village while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused experience for residents. You’ll be part of a friendly, people-focused team where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday 8-4pm

Your Impact

Maintain high-quality cleaning standards across village common areas, including bathrooms, hallways, stairwells, rooms and public spaces
Build positive relationships as a friendly and approachable presence at the village
Assist residents and the community with general ad-hoc tasks as required
Follow all OH&S requirements and promptly report any safety or security concerns

What you'll bring

Previous experience in cleaning, laundry or similar customer service-focused roles
A positive, respectful and people focused approach, with a strong commitment to providing a supportive experience for residents
The ability to work confidently and independently while managing daily tasks and priorities
Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)

$29.97/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
