Our 12-month Midwifery Graduate Program is designed to shape you into the best midwife. Our model of care allows our graduates to work with mothers and their newborns during their first days together. Graduate Midwives will experience one on one support from our clinical midwifery educators with professional development opportunities that support strong growth of foundational care. You will also be paired with preceptors to foster your knowledge and skills as you integrate into the multidisciplinary team.
Our 15-month Double Degree Midwifery Program also provides a rotation in a medical or surgical ward at commencement of the program where you will receive the support of a dedicated Clinical Educator, and ward based preceptor to help guide you through your transition to practice with ongoing check-ins from nurse managers and educators. You will then join the 12-month Midwifery Graduate program.
Cabrini also offers numerous professional development opportunities beyond the Graduate Program year as our contract is ongoing.

Application Requirements
Curriculum vitae (CV): Include details of each clinical placement (length, month, year, facility, ward, casemix, and length of placement)
Academic transcript: Most recent certified copy, including the grading legend/key page
Two most recent clinical placement reports. One of these reports must be from Birth Suite. If you are a double degree one report can be from an acute medical or surgical undergraduate placement
Professional references: Two referees, with at least one from your most recent clinical placement. Include full name, title, phone number, and email address. At least one of these references must be from your most recent clinical placement and from Birth Suite
