This is a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026.

The Role
Join our team as a Gardener - Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment. As a key member of the staff, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you'll play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives when working independently and enjoys maintaining and improving outdoor and indoor spaces. The successful applicant should perform general gardening duties, identify and complete jobs proactively and competently, perform minor maintenance/repair and handyperson tasks in accordance with the Department of Education’s policies and guidelines.
The successful applicant should display effective communication skills, be well-organised, self-motivated and reliable with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and external contractors.
