The Kooyong Hotel is looking for a Duty Manager to join the team at one of Mackay’s well-known local pubs — offering live sport, gaming, great atmosphere and a strong community vibe all under one roof.

Located just minutes from Mackay CBD, the Kooyong Hotel features a spacious beer garden, sports bar atmosphere, gaming room and regular live entertainment, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced pub environments and leading from the front.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in hospitality leadership, gaming or wagering environments preferred
Previous supervisor experience will also be considered
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience with cash handling, banking and end-of-night procedures
Ability to lead and motivate teams during busy service periods
RLMV & Approved Managers License, RSA & RSG
Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends
Someone who enjoys live sport, pub culture and community-focused venues
