The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support Defence capability delivery within the Integrated Acquisition and Sustainment Program Office (IASPO). This role provides the opportunity to work across complex and strategically important projects, delivering high-quality scheduling support and contributing to successful project outcomes.
Working closely with project managers and key stakeholders, you will develop, maintain, analyse, and report on project schedules while providing expert scheduling advice and support across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in accordance with Defence and industry best practices.

Support the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple projects and program activities.

Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and planning products to support project governance and stakeholder reporting requirements.

Monitor schedule performance and analyse project progress, dependencies, critical path activities, and schedule impacts.

Identify and communicate schedule-related risks, issues, and opportunities to support informed decision-making.

Provide scheduling advice and support to project managers and stakeholders.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls, planning, and scheduling processes.

Mentor and support project personnel in the application of scheduling tools and best-practice methodologies.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:

Demonstrated experience in a Senior Project Scheduler or Project Controls role within a complex project environment.

Advanced proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional (OPP), Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

Experience developing, maintaining, and reporting Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and schedule risk assessment skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
-
Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and meeting key project milestones.

Experience within a Defence environment will be highly regarded.

Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible
