About Us:

A Cut Above Flatpacks, a thriving family-owned business, specializes in manufacturing high-quality flatpack cabinetry for trade professionals. As we continue to expand, we're seeking an enthusiastic 1st-year apprentice cabinet maker/wood machinist to join our dynamic team.

Position: Apprentice Cabinet Maker/Wood Machinist

Location: Diggers Rest (Factory-based role)

Responsibilities:

As a valuable team member, you will be responsible for:

-Operating CNC machines

-Operating edge banders

-Performing maintenance on all machinery

-Packaging flatpack cabinetry

-Loading up customers

-Assembly of cabinetry

Qualities We Value:

-We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:

-Reliability and positive work ethic

-Keen eye for detail

-Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

-Excellent communication skills

-Hardworking and self-motivated

-Possession of a driver's license is preferable

Working Conditions:

-Full-time position (40 hours per week)

-Above award rates

-Working hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm

-Optional overtime & Saturday work will be available.
