The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our Ammonia/Ammonium Nitrate team in Kwinana. This hands-on role is crucial to the day-to-day operation of the plant, involving equipment operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a safety-focused environment. You’ll be supported with training and development opportunities and play an integral role in meeting production targets and ensuring safe plant performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Operate and monitor plant processes to meet production targets.
Conduct plant startups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting.
Perform first-line maintenance and raise work orders.
Collect and process samples; report deviations in plant performance.
Respond to emergency situations in line with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records and daily log entries.
Participate in safety meetings, HAZOPs, and training programs
Maintain plant area housekeeping standards.
Actively promote CSBP safety culture.
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience with DCS systems and plant operations.
Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
A Certificate III / IV in Process Technologies (desirable but not essential)
You’ll also be flexible with shift work and eager to learn new skills and processes.
