We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Motel Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the motel. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction, efficient operations, revenue growth, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in accommodation management.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate front desk operations, including reservations, guest check-ins, room assignments and housekeeping schedules;
· Supervise the motel safety measures, including security systems and regular check and updates of the gardens and buildings facilities;
· Organize and manage food and beverage services, as well as special events held in the motel;
· Ensure compliance with liquor and other legal standards required for the motel’s operations;
· Regular evaluate and monitor guests’ feedback to improve overall service quality and customer satisfaction;
· Oversee the front desk day-to-day accounting tasks and purchase supplies for daily office operation;
· Make sure that the property adheres to health, safety and occupational regulations, keeping the environment safe for both guests and employees;
· Provide the guest with local tourism information, including details on nearby attractions, tour lines and transport options;
· Develop and implement strategies to improve the motel’s overall efficiency and guest experience;
· Handle staffing issues, including training employees, managing schedules and addressing performance or service concerns.
Desirable
- Experience with revenue management and occupancy optimisation.
- Proven capability to integrate business management, financial planning, and digital technologies to enhance guest experience and business performance.
- Knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
- First Aid Certificate.
