Your New Role:
We’re seeking a motivated and technically skilled professional to join our Water and Sewer team as a Technical Officer Water and Sewer Operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and optimisation of essential water and wastewater infrastructure services that support our community and environment.
Reporting to the Water and Sewer Operations Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of operational renewals programs, asset condition assessments, minor capital works and technical support activities across Council’s water and sewer infrastructure.
You will work closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to improve system performance, maintain compliance with industry standards and contribute to the reliable operation of critical community assets.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline, or significant experience in water operations.
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.
- Experience in capital works programming and project management.
- Demonstrated budget management experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of water and sewer legislation, standards and operational processes.
