Location: Lisarow, NSW

Hours: Mon to Fri, 6:30am – 10:30 am (20 hrs/wk)

Job Type: Part-Time

About the Role

Join our fast-paced operations team at the Australia Post Lisarow Parcel Delivery Centre! We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to provide vital administrative, data entry, contractor support, and customer service assistance in a dynamic logistics environment.

Working fixed morning hours (6:30 am – 10:30am), you will work closely with contractor owner-drivers, delivery managers, and support teams to ensure daily operational processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.

What Your Morning Looks Like (Structured Shift Routine)

06:30am – 07:30am | Performance Analysis & Contractor Engagement
Analyse daily driver performance metrics, update operational run sheets, and work directly with contractor owner-drivers to optimize delivery compliance and address daily operational bottlenecks.

07:30am – 08:30am | Customer & Discrepancy Resolution
Respond to phone and email enquiries, investigate parcel discrepancies and delivery exceptions via tracking systems, and resolve customer cases promptly.

08:30am – 09:30am | Driver Onboarding & Training Coordination
Review new contractor applications, process onboarding paperwork, maintain compliance records, and coordinate driver/sorter inductions and procedural updates.

09:30am – 10:30am | Data Entry, Records & Daily Wrap-Up
Complete daily administrative data processing, update incident/operational logs, handle basic billing/payroll data entry, and maintain office supplies and confidential records.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day administrative support to the delivery centre operation.

· Process and maintain accurate driver paperwork, run sheets, and operational spreadsheets.

· Assist with tracking parcel discrepancies, delivery exceptions, and daily operational reporting.

· Answer telephone and email enquiries from contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.

· Assist with contractor/driver inductions, compliance records, and training updates.

· Maintain confidential contractor and operational files, office stationery, and uniform supplies.

· Provide basic administrative support for billing, invoicing, and payroll data entry.

· Adhere strictly to Australia Post and FNET policies, including WHS, security, and compliance requirements.

What We Are Looking For

· Experience: Previous background in administration, data entry, customer service, or office support.

· Systems Literacy: Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office & Google Docs. Comfort learning internal systems (e.g., OurPost, CMS, iComply).

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly telephone manner.

· Organisational Skills: Strong multi-tasker with exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

· Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, confidential, and committed to workplace health and safety (WHS).

· Industry Knowledge: Experience in logistics, transport, or parcel delivery is highly regarded, but not essential.
