Full Job Description

Okami is one of the largest and fastest-growing Japanese restaurant groups in Australia. Due to our continued expansion, we are now seeking a part-time Griller to join our team. The successful applicant must have relevant experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and comply with all health and safety regulations.
Ensure the grill station and work area are kept clean, organised, and in line with food safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Griller or Cook in a busy restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of grilling techniques and protein handling.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and good time management skills.
