As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to support the analysis, improvement, and optimisation of our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for reviewing operational processes, analysing performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with warehouse, logistics, inventory, and management teams to evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, and support business decision-making through accurate analysis and reporting. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for driving continuous improvement within supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of operational objectives by assisting in the development of effective picking strategies, workflows, and processes to improve customer satisfaction and maximise the use of warehouse resources.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within operations by reviewing current processes, workflows, and team performance.
- Monitor and evaluate existing procedures, systems, and operational practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes. May manage route activity including invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing.
- Provide recommendations to improve picking accuracy, productivity, workflow efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.
- Assist in reviewing and updating work methods, procedures, and team responsibilities to support continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
- Support the implementation of approved process improvements, operational changes, and updated warehouse procedures.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to picking team members to enhance skills, improve performance, and build team capability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. Qualifications in this specialisation and relevant field will be an advantage.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations, including senior-level responsibilities (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, SAP, ICS Logistics, or similar inventory management software.
- Leadership & Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
