SmartCare Diagnostics is a modern, privately-owned full-service diagnostic clinic delivering cardiac, respiratory, and sleep testing services across Queensland. With established clinics in Springfield Lakes, Upper Mt Gravatt, North Lakes, Capalaba, and Ipswich, we are rapidly expanding.
Our collaborative team includes Emergency Physicians, Cardiologists, Respiratory Specialists, Sonographers, Nurses, and administrative professionals. The Opportunity
We are seeking a Cardiac Technician to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role is flexible and offers variety, independence, and teamwork across multiple sites.
Whether you are an experienced technician or a health science student, we welcome your application. Full training and ongoing support are provided.
What You’ll Do
- Collect clinical history and perform basic health assessments
- Conduct ECGs and blood pressure monitoring
- Fit and upload Holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure devices
- Analyse and review monitoring data under supervision
- Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and other diagnostic procedures
- Troubleshoot and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Fit home-based sleep study devices
- Ensure timely reporting to referring practitioners
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Cardiac Technician or university student in a Medical/Science-based course
- Experience interpreting ECGs (highly regarded)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Confident using various software systems
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of tasks
- “Can-do” attitude, initiative, and a team-first mindset
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites
