Full Job Description

IGA Ravenswood

IGA Ravenswood is looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to take ownership of our growing Takeaway Department.

About the Role

As the Takeaway Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and helping grow the department through great food and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook takeaway food to a high standard
Manage daily operations of the takeaway department
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
Monitor stock levels and place orders when required
Minimise wastage and control food costs
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Develop and introduce new menu items and specials
Deliver excellent customer service
Manage the Team

About You
Previous cooking or takeaway experience is a must
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Reliable, hardworking and well organised
Passion for food and customer satisfaction
Flexible availability, including weekendsWhat We Offer
