Seasonal team members generally commence across October and November and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas.
Your roster
We have opportunities located in Sunshine West across Morning, Afternoon and Night Shifts. During our peak period (mid-November to mid-December), rosters will include weekend work as part of a rotating 5-day roster. Outside of peak periods, rosters generally operate Monday to Friday.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be flexible and available to work across your allocated roster, including weekends where required.
You’ll be paid
- Seasonal Forklift Drivers (21 years or older) are paid $35.83 per hour, including casual loading, plus 12% superannuation
- Junior rates apply to applicants under 21 years old
- Some roles may also attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend work
- 12% superannuation rate

You’ll be
- Using a Forklift, loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
- Sorting parcels and mail (manually or machine-assisted) with the use of scanners
- Working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
- Operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers whilst cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility
About you
- You hold a valid LF Forklift License
- You enjoy a physical role, can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly, have a great memory and attention to detail
- You're safety conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans
- You enjoy a fast paced environment where compliance checks are required
- You’re comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
