Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Infinity Hospitality –Southbank Melbourne Victoria 3006

Are you ready to take the next step in your housekeeping career?
Infinity Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support our Executive Housekeeper in delivering outstanding housekeeping operations at one of our premium client properties near Southbank Melbourne Victoria 3006.

As part of our passionate and driven team, you’ll play a key leadership role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness, service standards, and a welcoming guest experience — all while fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture.

What you’ll do:

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Supervise and support room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff to ensure consistent productivity and quality.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain Infinity Hospitality’s high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Oversee stock control and assist with ordering of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Contribute to staff rostering for efficient and cost-effective operations.
Coach, mentor, and train team members to support excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
Respond promptly to guest feedback and complaints, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Assist with onboarding new team members and ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.
Maintain strict adherence to WHS, hygiene, and infection-control protocols.
Collaborate with hotel management, front office, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and room readiness.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership role (e.g., Housekeeping Supervisor or similar).
Strong people management and communication skills.
Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Organisational and time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and hands-on approach with a passion for guest satisfaction.
