About Us

Gracious Grace Cafe is a busy cafe in the heart of Lilydale attached to the Yarra Ranges Museum and Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre offering Casual coffees & irresistible indulgent cakes to hearty all-day breakfasts & lunches.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Barista who can work independently, deliver high-quality coffee consistently, and provide outstanding customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.

The Job:

Currently looking for the right person to do Monday, Friday, Saturday shifts with occasional extra shifts available.
Preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based coffees
Delivering friendly and professional customer service
Taking customer orders and processing payments
Assisting with food handover and takeaway orders
Keeping the coffee station and front-of-house clean and organised
Restocking supplies throughout the day
Opening and/or closing the café area depending on shifts
Working efficiently during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For

Previous barista experience (essential)
Experience with latte art is highly regarded
Friendly, energetic and reliable personality
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Punctual with a strong work ethic
Food handling knowledge is an advantage
