Gracious Grace Cafe is a busy cafe in the heart of Lilydale attached to the Yarra Ranges Museum and Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre offering Casual coffees & irresistible indulgent cakes to hearty all-day breakfasts & lunches.
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Barista who can work independently, deliver high-quality coffee consistently, and provide outstanding customer service.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.
The Job:
- Currently looking for the right person to do Monday, Friday, Saturday shifts with occasional extra shifts available.
- Preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based coffees
- Delivering friendly and professional customer service
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Assisting with food handover and takeaway orders
- Keeping the coffee station and front-of-house clean and organised
- Restocking supplies throughout the day
- Opening and/or closing the café area depending on shifts
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista experience (essential)
- Experience with latte art is highly regarded
- Friendly, energetic and reliable personality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual with a strong work ethic
- Food handling knowledge is an advantage
