Full Job Description

Summary:

As a Care Worker in Griffith, New South Wales, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence and wellbeing of clients in the aged care sector. This temporary, casual position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals requiring assistance. Your compassion and adaptability will be essential in providing high-quality care and support to those in need.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support clients in maintaining their independence and wellbeing through engaging activities and companionship.
Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies.

Qualifications:

Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support or related field.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or related.
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or relevant qualification.
Experience in supporting client independence and wellbeing.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the aged care sector.
Adaptability to varied working hours.
Strong empathy and compassion towards others.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Work Eligibility:

Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia. Evidence of work eligibility will be required prior to commencement.
