Deliver consistent, high-quality student administration support across postgraduate medical programs within a collaborative and fast-paced school environment.
The Opportunity
You will provide end-to-end student administration support within the School of Medicine, with a primary focus on postgraduate programs. Working in a high-volume and service focused environment, you will act as the first point of contact for student administration enquiries, and deliver accurate, timely and professional support across a broad range of operational activities.
You will coordinate and support student placements, examinations and assessment processes, working closely with academic staff, professional teams and external partners. This includes monitoring placement and engagement requirements, supporting assessment coordination activities, maintaining accurate records and contributing to consistent administrative processes across the School.
The role also contributes to student advisory and engagement activities, including supporting academically at-risk students and assisting with initiatives that strengthen the student experience and profile of the School.
Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement, attention to detail and a collaborative approach. Professional staff within the School work closely together and support broader operational priorities during peak periods to ensure continuity of service delivery.
What Success Looks Like:
-
Student administration enquiries are managed professionally, accurately and in a timely manner.
-
Placement, assessment and engagement activities are coordinated effectively and meet required deadlines.
-
Accurate student records, agreements and documentation are maintained accurately and consistently.
-
Students, academics and external stakeholders receive responsive and consistent support.
-
Operational priorities are supported collaboratively across the School during peak periods.
About You
-
Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
-
Demonstrated experience delivering high-volume administrative support in a large complex organisation.
-
Experience coordinating placements, assessments, student services or related operational activities.
-
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
-
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with a broad range of stakeholders and handle confidential matters appropriately.
-
High-level proficiency in office software, databases and records management systems.
-
A collaborative, team-focused approach and willingness to contribute across broader operational activities when required.
