In this role, you'll:
- Join a high performing team delivering SAP Plan to Deliver (PS and PPM) solutions across Transport for NSW
- Lead the end-to-end Solution design of SAP PS and PPM solutions, to support complex project and portfolio management business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and develop implementation roadmaps for SAP PS and PPM projects
- Work closely with domain solution architects and the principal architect to ensure adherence to Transport and SAP architectural standards across PS and PPM functional areas
- Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to ensure alignment between SAP PS & PPM programs and the broader ICT Strategy
- Coordinate cross-program designs, manage interdependencies, and proactively resolve solution risks and issues
- Lead solution design to meet business and stakeholder needs, maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks
- Drive system rationalisation, integration, and process efficiency across SAP PS and PPM functional domains to meet business requirements
- Specialise in SAP solution architecture for large-scale business transformation programs, particularly in project financial management, resource planning, and portfolio governance
- Champion best practices in project lifecycle management, cost planning, budgeting, and milestone tracking within the SAP PS & PPM landscape

About you
- Extensively knowledgeable and experienced in large and complex business transformation programs with a focus on project and portfolio management domains
- A proven SAP PS & PPM Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful SAP implementations in large, complex environments
- Deeply knowledgeable across SAP Project Systems (PS) and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM), including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration technologies (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP Data Services)
- Holder of relevant SAP certification(s) (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Project Systems or PPM) — highly regarded
- Experienced in project financial management, resource and capacity planning, cost controlling, and portfolio governance within SAP environments
- Demonstrably skilled at driving cross-program designs and coordinating architecture functions across multiple workstreams and delivery teams
- An excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels — from technical teams through to executive leadership
- Able to provide both strategic direction and hands-on technical leadership across complex, concurrent SAP programs
- Proficient in developing and maintaining architecture frameworks, domain management artefacts, and solution design documentation
- Experienced in leading system rationalisation, integration design, and process harmonisation initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes
