About the Project
Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer that has been awarded a 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs, maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast. Having recently celebrated our third anniversary, the partnership now has seven years remaining on the contract.
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and hands-on post-graduate civil (or structural) engineer with field experience to support project delivery at site level. Supporting our reservoir renewal program, you will play a key role in coordinating technical activities, managing project documentation, and subcontractor performance monitoring to ensure safe, compliant and efficient execution of works.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at Bundall, QLD with travel to sites across the Gold Coast region.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Coordinate site activities, technical interfaces, and project documentation to support the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects.

Monitor project progress, performance, and subcontractor activities, assisting with planning, reporting, forecasting, and issue resolution.

Support compliance with design, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
About You
- Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Strong capability in subcontractor coordination and oversight, with a focus on maintaining compliance and upholding safety standards.

3+ years of similar experience, within the water and/or wastewater will be highly regarded. Adjacent asset-intensive industry experience would also be considered: oil and gas, mining as well as industrial manufacturing and processing.
