Full Job Description

Job Title: Bilingual Translator and Personal Assistant (Chinese-English)

We are recruiting a mature, reliable, and organized bilingual translator and personal assistant (Chinese-English), offering long-term part-time support.

This position is suitable for individuals with excellent English and Chinese speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, attention to detail, strong professional communication skills, and a strong sense of confidentiality. Main responsibilities include Chinese-English translation, English editing, document organization, and routine administrative assistance.

Main Responsibilities

Accurate and natural written translation between Chinese and English

Reviewing, editing, and proofreading English documents, emails, and other written content

Optimizing English vocabulary, grammar, tone, and expression to make the content more natural and professional

Assisting with communication between Chinese and English as needed

Preparing, organizing, and managing relevant documents and materials

Providing daily administrative and personal assistant support

Assisting with email correspondence, scheduling, and other daily tasks as needed

Maintaining a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality regarding personal information and sensitive data

We hope you possess the following qualities:

Fluent in both Mandarin and English

Excellent written English communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities

Mature, stable, reliable, patient, and responsible

Good professional communication skills, able to communicate smoothly with people from diverse backgrounds

Organized and detail-oriented

Able to work independently and effectively organize and complete tasks

Trustworthy, with a strong sense of confidentiality regarding confidential and personal information

Proficient in Microsoft... Proficient in using Office, email, and common online office tools. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in translation, English editing, administration, administrative/personal assistant, or similar fields.

Job Information

Full-time

8 hours per day

Monthly Salary: A$10,000–A$12,000 + Superannuation (if applicable)

Flexible work arrangements are available. Long-term collaboration opportunities are possible for suitable performers. Career development support may be provided.
