About the Position
As an Administration Officer within Student Success & Wellbeing, you’ll provide high-level support to senior leaders while acting as a key connector across a diverse range of student services including orientation, wellbeing, inclusion, and career development.
No two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, student-focused environment, supporting the broad administrative operations of service areas, supporting programs, educative campaigns, major student events, communications, and helping ensure students can access the services they need to succeed.
From assisting with large-scale programs like orientation and careers events, to triaging enquiries and supporting reporting and operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and supportive student journey. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive an inclusive, welcoming environment for all students and stakeholders.
If you enjoy variety, purpose-driven work, and being part of a collaborative team that makes a real impact — this role is for you.
You’re a highly organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
You bring a natural ability to build rapport and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, approaching every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset. You’re confident juggling multiple priorities, making sound decisions, and knowing when to take initiative or seek guidance.
Ideally, you will have:
-
Completed Diploma combined with experience in administration, events, or service delivery, within a busy and dynamic environment
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and inclusively
-
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
-
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
-
Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems and tools
-
The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
You’ll thrive in this role if you are adaptable, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting people. Experience in a university or large, complex organisation will be highly regarded, but not essential.
The salary for the position commences at $74,096.61 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
