As a Senior Administrative Officer you will:
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Clinical Director and Associate Director, including diary management, correspondence, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate events, visits, workshops, and engagement activities that support the development and growth of the Deakin Trials Hub.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with researchers, health partners, industry sponsors, government agencies, and internal University stakeholders to support collaborative clinical trial activities.
- Support the delivery of operational projects and initiatives that strengthen clinical trial capacity and enhance the Hub’s effectiveness across Deakin.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working within a dynamic and evolving clinical research environment.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and executive support within a large, complex organisation.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse groups.
- Experience coordinating projects, events, or operational activities, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
- A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
