The Commercial Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the commercial segment across key markets.
Your key responsibilities include:
Generating and qualifying leads, including self‑sourced opportunities.
Developing and execute sales action plans and commercial‑segment strategies.
Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline and manage customer data in Microsoft CRM360.
Conducting direct marketing activities and participate in targeted conferences and sales events.
Making sales calls and customer visits, delivering presentations and product training.
Preparing proposals with the Bid Team and contracts with the ISA Team.
Maintaining accurate CRM records and report on sales activity using CRM and Power BI.
Meeting monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring strong customer relationships.
Additionally, the role also involves developing and maintaining sales and promotional materials in collaboration with the Marketing team, responding to enquiries across phone, email, and in‑person channels, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Extensive National travel to key projects and client meetings is requires.
You are a high‑achieving, competitive, and structured sales professional with a strong track record in B2B and specification‑based selling. You excel in environments with mixed sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
The position demands readiness for extensive national travel and the professionalism to engage stakeholders at all levels.
We also imagine that you have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in specification‑focused sales.
Experience selling high‑end, design‑led, or project‑based products.
Strong commercial and negotiation acumen in multi‑stakeholder environments.
Proven ability to prospect, source leads, and identify new business opportunities.
Experience within landscape, construction, industrial, or commercial product lines.
Strong understanding of tenders, RFQs, and project‑driven sales cycles.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging varied stakeholders.
Skilled in CRM systems, Excel, MS Office, and Power BI.
A Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent, full working rights in Australia, and willingness for extensive national travel are essential.
