Your New Role
As a QA & Compliance Coordinator – Electrical & ITS Projects , you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by driving quality assurance, compliance, and technical documentation outcomes.
You’ll be responsible for establishing and managing QA systems across electrical, ITS, and associated civil works, ensuring alignment with client specifications such as TMR MRTS and Energex standards.
In this role, you will:
- Lead QA processes including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), lot tracking, hold points, and progressive close-out
- Manage non-conformances (NCRs), defects, and corrective actions to reduce rework and delays
- Coordinate engineering deliverables including QA dossiers, as-builts, and O&M manuals
- Maintain structured document control systems to support submissions, approvals, and traceability
- Review supplier and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with IFC drawings, designs, and specifications
- Support project onboarding and mobilisation , ensuring QA readiness prior to site start
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless information flow and compliance
- Assist procurement by reviewing and validating supplier QA and technical documentation
- Conduct site inspections and audits , embedding quality systems into day-to-day delivery and driving continuous improvement
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in QA, compliance, or project coordination within electrical, ITS, or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of TMR MRTS, Energex, or similar client standards
- Experience developing and managing ITPs, QA documentation, and handover packages
- Exposure to document control systems and QA tools (e.g. CivilPro or similar)
- Ability to review technical documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks early and drive quality outcomes
High attention to detail and organisational capability to manage multiple deliverables
