ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) supporting our long-term major infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham, WA.
As the Senior Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing project documentation systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficient document control across major Defence infrastructure projects.
The person appointed to this role will be employed by Ertech and seconded to the Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture.
Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Establish and maintain project document control systems, numbering protocols and version control processes
- Administer the DMS (RIB|CX), including workflows, access permissions and document transmittals
- Monitor and audit project documentation to ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements
- Prepare and provide regular document control and progress reports to the Project Manager
- Coordinate document consolidation and handover activities throughout HOTO processes
- Support and promote a safe working environment across all offices and project sites
- Ensure company safety standards are maintained throughout all document control activities.
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- 5+ years’ experience working in a Senior Document Controller position or similar
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability
- Previous experience within the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance (essential)
- Australian Defence background (highly regarded).
