We’re on the lookout for a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Forbes Machinery Centre. If you thrive on variety, problem-solving, and working with top-tier agricultural equipment like New Holland tractors and headers, this is the role for you!
From workshop servicing and repairs to pre-deliveries and on-site breakdowns, no two days are the same. You’ll be the engine behind our operation, keeping machines moving and farmers farming.

What you’ll be doing:
- Servicing, repairing and pre-delivering industry-leading agricultural machinery.
- Diagnosing and fixing a wide range of equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentoring and motivating apprentices – sharing your knowledge and building a strong team culture.
- Taking part in on-site jobs and after-hours callouts.
About You:
- Hold a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic/technician trade qualification, or willingness to acquire.
- Current forklift license preferred.
- Possess a current driver’s license.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills with a mechanically minded approach.
- Excellent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Well-presented and customer-focused.
