About Us

Franquette Crêperie opened in October 2023 and has quickly become a favourite among locals and visitors alike. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we serve authentic French galettes and crêpes, alongside a seasonal menu inspired by the cafés and crêperies of France.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team in Bowral, NSW. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing and cooking a range of sweet crêpes, savoury galettes and other menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and service standards
Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen operations
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
Assist with stock rotation and storage of ingredients
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
Support the team during busy service periods

Requirements

At least two years of relevant experience as a Cook or in a similar role
Ability to prepare and cook food in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
An interest in French cuisine and willingness to learn traditional crêpe-making techniques
