About the role

CUSS is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our dynamic team in Newtown! This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including scheduling, inventory management and staff supervision
Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences
Analyse sales data and develop strategies to improve store performance and meet key business objectives
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional campaigns and in-store events
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management
Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail/hospitality industry
Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, KPI tracking and staff management
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver exceptional in-store experiences
Proficient in data analysis and using insights to drive business decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
Passion for the retail/hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
