Senior Learning and Development Officer
Location – Eastwood, Corrective Services Academy, Sydney
Employment type – Temporary Full Time (up to 12 months)
Salary – Clerk Grade 9/10 - $133,348 - $146,945 plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Learning and Development Officer to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning and assessment programs that support our staff across New South Wales. This role plays a critical part in fostering professional growth, enhancing industry-specific competencies, and developing key behavioural capabilities essential for success in a complex and evolving environment.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, coordinate and deliver learning programs across different settings
Evaluate and report on program effectiveness
Manage stakeholder engagement to identify training needs and requirements
Manage, supervise, support and assess staff learning, using various tools
Develop, coordinate and implement learning strategies and policies
Coach and mentor staff to facilitate ongoing professional development
Ensure compliance with RTO standards and regulations

Essential requirements
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor)
Relevant qualifications and vocational experience in training delivery areas
Current NSW Drivers licence and willingness to travel in the course of performing the role.
