We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced casual Clerk of Course riders for race meetings and barrier trials, with possible involvement in the care and training of horses at Warwick Farm.
You will be required to work at all venues, primarily Warwick Farm and you must be available to work weekends when required.
Key responsibilities include:

Role may include transporting horses between ATC racecourses using ATC vehicles/floats; appropriate licences are required.

Responsible for supporting the safe, orderly, and efficient running of race meetings and official racing activities.

Must work in line with the Rules of Racing, WHS requirements, and operational procedures.

Provides mounted support to stewards, jockeys, trainers, and race day officials.

Expected to maintain high standards of horse welfare, rider safety, and professional conduct.

Shifts predominately at Warwick Farm Racecourse with additional shifts offered at the other Track venues from time to time.
To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:

Previous Clerk of Course or racing industry experience will be highly regarded.

Experience riding and handling thoroughbred and/or stock horses.

Calm under pressure with sound judgement and situational awareness.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Hold or be able to obtain required Racing NSW licences or registrations.

Meet race club medical, fitness and compliance requirements.

Follow safe work procedures, use PPE correctly and report hazards or incidents immediately.

Comply with racing industry drug and alcohol policies and maintain eligibility to work in the thoroughbred racing industry.
