Proudly serving the Greater Bendigo region and beyond, the dealership offers a comprehensive range of new and pre-owned Kia and Isuzu Ute vehicles, along with professional servicing, genuine parts, and tailored finance solutions. With a strong local presence, Central Victorian Motor Group has established itself as a trusted name in the automotive industry by prioritising customer satisfaction and reliability.

Due to business expansion, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

The roles for the vacant position include but are not limited to:

· Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.

· Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tune-ups.

· Repair and replace engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, and other vehicle parts.

· Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.

· Assemble and reinstall engine and mechanical components following repair, maintenance, and overhaul work, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications

· Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.

· Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.

· Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications and skills required for the role:

Relevant Certificate IV qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or
Diagnosis.
Minimum one (1) year of work experience as a Motor Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Experience operating computer-based diagnostic systems to identify and troubleshoot vehicle faults.
Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
