Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Secondary Teacher to join our team in Auburn, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in their mathematical journey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing students' understanding and appreciation of mathematics, contributing to their overall academic success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the Australian Curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular formative and summative testing and provide timely feedback, offering support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices within the department.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress, addressing any concerns as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Recognised Australian teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Diploma in Education) and a current NESA accreditation number.
Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in a classroom setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
