Your Opportunity

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our pastry team.

As the Chef de Partie - Pastry you will work alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to deliver exceptional products.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Lead the pastry alongside the Executive Pastry Chef with full autonomy, ensuring consistency and finesse.
Produce exceptional plated desserts, afternoon tea offerings, petit fours, and banqueting pastries to the highest standards.
Innovate with seasonal and signature dessert menus while preserving classic techniques.
Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen team while confidently managing your own section independently.
Maintain impeccable hygiene, HACCP standards, and kitchen organization.
Uphold the resort’s culinary reputation through attention to detail and excellence in execution.

You will demonstrate:

Formal qualifications in pastry
Only candidates based in Australia will be considered.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end, fine dining or luxury hotel/resort setting and boutique/pastry shop.
Experience with both à la carte and banqueting are essential.
Impeccable hygiene standards to ensure compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety procedures, including knowledge of HACCP
Proper stock control, ordering and rotation
Must be able to work autonomously
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Desire to work in an energetic team setting
Impeccable professional attitude including care for personal grooming, punctuality and service quality
Great attention to detail
Flexible with working hours
