Maintenance & Yardperson (Part-Time / Casual)

Mansfield Park Hotel

Are you hands‑on, reliable, and take pride in keeping things clean, safe, and welcoming?
We’re on the lookout for a proactive Maintenance & Yardperson to join the team at the Mansfield Park Hotel - a vibrant local pub known for great hospitality and strong community spirit.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes initiative, and likes being active in a varied, hands‑on environment.

About the Role

Approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (flexible scheduling available)
General maintenance of pub facilities, both indoor and outdoor
Yard upkeep including sweeping, rubbish removal, garden care, and minor repairs
Assisting with deliveries, basic handyman tasks, and overall venue presentation
Identifying and reporting hazards to support a safe environment for staff and patrons

What We’re Looking For

A self‑starter with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
Experience in maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping, or similar hands‑on roles
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Friendly, respectful attitude with good communication skills
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
