Full Job Description

With over 2,800 employees in 30 countries, the German MEIKO Group is a leading global manufacturer of professional dishwashing systems, medical washer-disinfectors, and food waste disposal technology.

We are seeking a dynamic and self motivated Marketing Coordinator with a strong knowledge of the Healthcare and Foodservice equipment markets in Northern Territory (NT), South Australia (SA) and Tasmania (TAS).

The Role

This new role reports to the Head of Sales and requires a person that is fast paced, motivated and driven to succeed. You need to have the desire to network and make the NT, SA and TAS territories your own by enhancing existing relationships and creating growth opportunities via business development.

You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with a variety of different customers, proven time management skills and pride yourself on your ability to go above and beyond for our customers.

You should have an existing network and business relationships throughout the area with industries affiliated with healthcare, hospitality, foodservice equipment and catering to develop new business opportunities.

Essential Requirements

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

Skills, knowledge and the drive to meet and exceed your sales budgets, hunt new business accounts within a complex B2B and B2C environments.
Self-motivated with excellent productive time management to achieve sales targets of the equipment portfolio.
Strong business development acumen and confidence meeting with senior decision makers of large and smaller organisations.
Experience in working with Architects, Planners, Dealers, Kitchen Contractors, Foodservice Consultants and Designers.
Represent the company at various conferences, committees and business meetings to promote our product range, work on creating positive relations with our customers, partners and distributors.
Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources
Participate in product launch plans, marketing, promotions and communications.
Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers' and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
Monitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activity, and reporting these developments to sales management
Plan sales calls and follow up meetings with customers to ensure superior support and customer satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising.
Proven and successful record of new business development sales in capital equipment.
Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services
Sales professional who develops and maintains relationships across an extended sales cycle.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have at 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position and a tertiary qualification in a relevant field is an advantage (e.g. Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing)

On offer is an annual gross salary package of between $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation. Not forgetting to mention the opportunity to join a global leader with a focus on long term employment
