What's on offer?
We have an opportunity for an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to provide and be responsible for performing skilled technical work in the development and installation of solutions for electronic security.
You will work with a team of skilled Security Technicians across a broad spectrum of sites. The team works on developing, installing, and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, and CCTV systems. You will use a variety of commercial security systems including Gallagher, Inner Range, Tecom, as well as a range of CCTV systems.
A permanent, full-time position, this role will also see you working with a variety of clients, from top tier security clearance businesses to the mum and pop shop down the way. No matter the client, keeping them involved and informed at all stages is key, as is ensuring not only industry specific standards are adhered to, but client standards and practices as well.

What you'll bring
This won’t be your first rodeo; you’ll have the experience to back the skills needed, having worked as a Security Technician before. Installing, repairing, wiring, and testing, you know what to do and how to do it…you may even have your own tools of the trade ready for action.
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
- Valid and current driver’s license are essential – you’ll be hitting the roads to visit client sites.
- Valid State licences and clearances.
- Knowledge and experience with Gallagher security systems and product.
- A minimum of 12-months experience working in an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker position
- Experience working in a Technical Trade such as an Electrician, AV Communications, Fire System installation etc. would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills (polite and presentable).
- Experience with Security, Access Control and CCTV systems.
